Contact Form

When you send us inquiries via the contact form, your details from the inquiry form, including the contact data you provided, will be stored by us for the purpose of processing the inquiry and in case of follow-up questions. We will not share this data without your consent. The processing of this data is based on Art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR (consent) and Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR (legitimate interest in processing your inquiry).

Server Log Files

The hosting provider automatically collects and stores information in server log files that your browser transmits automatically. These are: browser type and version, operating system, referrer URL, hostname of the accessing computer, time of the server request, and IP address. This data is not merged with other data sources. The collection of this data is based on Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR.

4. Cookies

This website only uses technically necessary cookies that are required for the operation of the site. No tracking, analytics, or advertising cookies are used. Technically necessary cookies are set on the basis of Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in the technically error-free provision of its services.

5. Your Rights

You have the right at any time to obtain free information about the origin, recipients, and purpose of your stored personal data. You also have the right to request the correction or deletion of this data. If you have given consent to data processing, you can revoke this consent at any time for the future. You also have the right, under certain circumstances, to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority.

6. Hosting

This website is hosted on a server of Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany; the server is located in a data center in Nuremberg. For details on how personal data is handled, please refer to Hetzner's privacy policy: https://www.hetzner.com/legal/privacy-policy/

The use of Hetzner is based on Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR. We have a legitimate interest in the reliable and secure provision of our website. A data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR is in place with Hetzner. Processing takes place exclusively in Germany; no data is transferred to third countries in the process.

7. Email Delivery via Resend

We deliver messages from the contact form through the email service Resend, operated by Plus Five Five, Inc., 2261 Market Street #5039, San Francisco, CA 94114, USA. Your name, email address and message are processed to transmit your inquiry to our mailbox. For details on how personal data is handled, please refer to Resend's privacy policy: https://resend.com/legal/privacy-policy

The use of Resend is based on Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR. We have a legitimate interest in the reliable delivery of inquiries. A data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR is in place with the provider. The data is processed in the USA; the transfer is based on the provider's certification under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and, additionally, on the EU Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

8. Web Analytics with Umami

To understand how this website is used, we use the open-source software Umami, which we run ourselves on our server at Hetzner Online GmbH in Germany. Umami does not set cookies and does not store any information on your device. It records the page visited, the referring page (referrer), browser, operating system, device type, screen resolution, language, and the country, region and city derived from the IP address. The IP address itself is not stored: together with the browser identifier, the date and a secret key of our server it is turned into an identifier that only groups page views within the same day and does not allow any conclusions about your person.

The data is stored only at Hetzner, on our server and in its daily backups, which are deleted automatically after seven days. It is not passed on to third parties. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR; our legitimate interest lies in improving our offer on the basis of anonymous usage statistics. If your browser sends the "Do Not Track" signal, no data is recorded. We delete the statistics as soon as they are no longer needed for evaluation.

9. Appointments and video calls with Google Workspace

We use the appointment booking of Google Calendar (Google Workspace), provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. When you book an appointment, Google processes the details you enter on our behalf — name, e-mail address, the chosen time and, if given, your message — adds the appointment to our calendar and sends you the invitation with a Google Meet link. The call takes place on Google Meet; Google processes the data needed for the connection, such as name, IP address and device information, as well as video and audio during the call. We do not record calls. E-mails to us, including messages from the contact form, are also received in Google Workspace.

The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) lit. b GDPR (steps prior to entering into a contract). We have a data processing agreement with Google under Art. 28 GDPR. Google may also process data in the USA; this is covered by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, under which Google LLC is certified, and by standard contractual clauses. We delete appointment data once it is no longer needed, at the latest twelve months after the call if no contract is concluded.

10. SSL/TLS Encryption

This site uses SSL/TLS encryption for security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content. You can recognize an encrypted connection by the address bar of the browser changing from "http://" to "https://" and by the lock icon in your browser bar.
